Context
The DaCapo project focuses in defining a new set of human-centered digital tools and services for the manufacturing industry capable of boosting the application of Circular Economy (CE) principles at different phases throughout the manufacturing value chains, enhancing the circularity of industrial processes and products.

Objectives
1. Establishing an agile methodology for the efficient implementation of CE strategies in EU manufacturing value chains.
2. Implementing a digital architecture to enable new sustainable and circular business models.
3. Developing AI-based tools and Digital Twins for the new circular product lifecycles.
4. Facilitating the uptake of the digital tools and circular business models by industry and society.

XiLAB defines new methods for the co-evolution of digital tools, operators’ skills and interfaces and designs proactive, adaptive human-machine interfaces (HMIs) for the project use cases.
