Human-Robot Collaboration

Definition of methods and tools for human-robot collaboration to enable an effective cooperation between humans and machines, to complement human capabilities and relieve people of arduous tasks. The research focuses on combining cutting-edge robot technology and end-user requirements for improving manufacturing processes and creating a more efficient integrated system. For this purpose, activities aim at developing novel efficient ways for designing collaborative workstations, also supported by Robot-in-the-Loop simulations (RIL).
